Ferragosto in Como

• Giro Il Lombardia 2020: The 114th edition of the Giro di Lombardia, with departure from Bergamo and arrival in Como, will take place on Sunday 15th August, following the route of the last edition. A departure from Bergamo that is not only a dedication to Felice Gimondi but also to a city that has suffered the health crisis Covid-19.
• Guided tours to discover Moltrasio: Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August at 10:00 a.m. with departure in piazza S. Rocco.
  Every weekend in August it will be possible to visit Moltrasio accompanied by a guide – Associazione Guide Como – who will lead you through the streets of the village to discover an authentic village and unexpected views.
• Guided tours of the park of Villa Erba, Cernobbio, to find out every nook and cranny and anecdote so far kept secret.

  Organized by the Associazione Mondo Turistico with the patronage of the Municipality of Cernobbio and Villa Erba.
• Mid-August at the Silk Museum of Como: On Saturday 15th August the Silk Museum will be open to the public, exceptionally, from 3pm to 7pm.
  For those who want to bring the little ones, the ticket office is available, included in the price of the ticket, “Gioca Museo!”, an itinerary for children to get to know the Museum and silk through missions and explorations.
• Ferragosto at Grumello Park: the park of Villa del Grumello for the whole month of August will be open to the public on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with refreshment and aperitif with Ugo until 9:00 p.m., by La Breva e20.
  Sunday, August 16, there will be the summer concert of the Saxophone Quartet who will perform to the music of J.S. Bach, Franz Schubert, Pepito Ros Cycle and Morricone (Prenotazione obbligatoria). Also on Sunday, August 16, appointment with “Schermi d’arti” and the screening at 21.30 of “Ermitage, il potere dell’arte”.

Mid-August in Tremezzina

• Mid-August to Villa Carlotta: open Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August also Villa Carlotta. It will be possible to visit the Museum and the large park. Do not miss the collection of palm trees and exotic plants, citrus fruits, the valley of ferns and the olive grove. You can also visit in Torretta the exhibition “Lombardia, un tesoro di biodiversità”, ten informative panels bring visitors closer to the knowledge of often hidden natural treasures.
  Throughout the month of August, it will also be possible to visit the Oratorio Sommariva as part of the program of guided tours: Friday from 14:00 to 16:00; Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 to 16:00.

• Mid-August in camping in Naggio: Sunday, August 16 from 06:30 to 13:00 in Naggio will be held the ‘ event Incanto – musica e natura al confine tra alba e notte.
