Unwind in the spectacular Lake Como landscape, the Greenway is a pleasant 6 miles (10 km) long hike with plenty to see along the way in each season.
Passing through the towns of Colonno, Sala Comacina, Ossuccio, Lenno, Mezzegra, Tremezzo e Griante, walkers will find something to explore on each stretch of this path. You don’t have to do the walk in one go to enjoy the best it has to offer.
Discover the 7 stages of the itinerary.
There is a bus system operating from Como city to the western lake shores. Line C10 runs between Como and Colico (passing through Tremezzina).

A great way to explore the lake area is by boat.
There are three types of boats: slow boat (battello), great for leisurely travellers and for taking photos from the outside deck; rapid-service by hydrofoil (aliscafo); and car ferry (traghetto) service in the central lake area, which also takes pedestrian passengers.
