From Cernobbio to Mount Bisbino

We indicate the complete stages of the route, considering the departure from the city center:

• Historic Center of Cernobbio: it is possible to walk along the "Riva" - the famous square on the town lake - and admire several points of interest, such as the recently restored Fountain and the Church of San Vincenzo;
• Oratory of the Beata Vergine delle Grazie: it is a pretty little church located at the intersection of the historic "Via Regina" and Via Montegrappa, right in front of Piazza Belinzaghi, reachable through the alleys of the center;
• Rovenna: continuing along Via Monte Grappa, then Via Plinio and Via Monte Santo, you reach Rovenna, a hamlet of Cernobbio located in an elevated position with respect to the Old Town and from which you can admire beautiful views;;
• Monte Bisbino: from Rovenna you can take a beautiful mule track that, in about 2 hours and 30 minutes, leads to the Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine del Bisbino, where you could also eat at the small refuge and, if lucky, visit the small museum of local history.

  from Milan: Motorway Milano-Laghi A9 to Como - Chiasso, exit "Lago di Como" (the last one before Switzerland).
  from Switzerland: Highway A2 to Como - Milan, exit "Lago di Como"
• By train
  Train connections with Milan and Switzerland (Ferrovie Nord, Ferrovie dello Stato, Tilo) and then to Cernobbio by bus or boat
• By bus
  Connections with Como and the Upper Lake with the Asf line C10. Departures about every hour
  To reach the hamlet of Rovenna, line C28 from Cernobbio
• By boat
  Lake connections offered by Navigazione Lago di Como, from Como and the Upper Lake. Stop "Cernobbio".

• Departure from the historical center: it is advisable to park at the Villa Erba parking lot, or at the parking areas near the Historical Center.
• Departure from Rovenna: parking near the cemetery.
