Some landscapes remain unknown and rugged, solitary and unexplored for long periods. Others have been destined to be long inhabited, admired, and narrated. They grow richer with human beauty, are preserved as treasures of civilization and culture, and are visited to prevent them from being forgotten.

The Tremezzina area on Lake Como is a well-known and captivating tourist destination, but it also hides unexpected riches and details waiting to be rediscovered. The widespread exhibition Note ai margini – Visions, Underlinings, and Reflections on the Landscape presents contemporary art works and installations within the four districts of the Municipality of Tremezzina, offering an opportunity to bring these places together with fresh artistic sensibilities that engage with their stories, shapes, and memories, enriching them with new and young inspirations.

As they move through the exhibition stops, visitors are invited to embark on a “treasure hunt” across the Tremezzina area, enhanced and interpreted through the perspectives of six young artists:

The exhibition is organized by Luminanda as part of the project Artway for All, within the broader project Artway: Discovering the Artistic Heritage of Tremezzina, proposed by the Municipality of Tremezzina in response to the call for “Support for Small and Medium-Sized Art Cities and Villages Particularly Affected by the Decrease in Tourist Flows Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic for Projects Containing Measures for the Promotion and Revitalization of the Artistic Heritage” from the Ministry of the Interior.
