On Monday 28th September at 9:00 p.m. in the dining room of Villa Bernasconi, in Cernobbio the piano concert with Nicoletta and Angela Feola will take place, during the series "La Grande Musica a Cernobbio".
Playing in two means "playing" with music, holding hands in a roundabout in which the public also participates. Nicoletta and Angela have always played together, they were born and grew up as a duo since their first approach to the instrument, they are one of the few Italian groups born "on the school benches".
With the 4-handed programme proposed in Cernobbio, the intention of the two pianists is to recreate the magic that was breathed in the salons of the nineteenth century and certainly also in Villa Bernasconi. From Schubert's masterpiece (Fantasia in F minor) to Brahms' waltzes, up to Debussy's Petite Suite which, alongside playful Spanish accents, anticipates the aesthetic and purely decorative element of the "arabesque" which is well suited to the architecture and spirit of the Art Nouveau jewel of Cernobbio.
