Description
On Monday 14th September at 9:00 p.m. in the dining room of Villa Bernasconi, in Cernobbio the flute and piano concert with Alberto Navarra and Mery Rui Xu will take place, during the "La Grande Musica a Cernobbio" festival.
Alberto Navarra, flutist from Piedmont, and Mery Rui Xu, Chinese pianist, meet in Villa Bernasconi to give life to an evening of extraordinary lyrical invention and suffused melancholy with the performance of the Arpeggione sonata (in the flute arrangement) by Franz Schubert.
The programme is completed by a Haydn sonata for piano and Mendelssohn's capricious rondo rondo, as well as Debussy's solo flute piece inspired by the love of the god Pan for the nymph Syrinx.
