The church of S. Margherita in Pigra is situated in an isolated position, near the cemetery. The gabled façade
has lateral wings, plastered and painted and with a stone plinth; the church is placed in a panoramic position overlooking the lake with its bell tower.
The church has three naves, with chapels at the end of the side naves and a long presbytery ending in a polygonal apse. On the left side of the presbytery is located a room plastered and painted but not decorated, with a flat roof, connected with the side entrance of the church. On the right side of the church are located the sacristy and the bell tower, both integrated in the perimeter of the main building.
The gabled façade has lateral wings, plastered and painted and with a stone plinth; the prothyrum has two columns and serizzo pilasters and is covered with a frescoed sail vault; the façades of the church are marked by pilasters and geometric mirrors, with plastered and painted plinths.
