The Abbey of San Benedetto is an interesting example of Romanesque architecture, located in the Perlana valley along the slopes of Mount Galbiga.
It can be reached following two different paths, the first departing from the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Succour in Ossuccio and the other from the Abbey of Acquafredda in Lenno.
The complex consists of the church, flanked by an imposing bell tower, a building on the east side, which includes the area of the ancient Chapter Hall, and some crumbling buildings located on the south side to form a small quadrangular courtyard.
