Varenna is a small and picturesque village of a thousand surpises, on the eastern shore of Lake Como: small houses and typical alleys, a blaze of colours and scents, an open-air museum able give the visitors dreamlike scenarios.
An excursion of about 8 km to discover the medieval village, the lakeside promenade with the romantic "lovers' footbridge", the Castle of Vezio, the source of Fiumelatte, Villa Monastero and Villa Cipressi with the enchanting gardens that lap the lake shores.
