On Sunday 10 October from 10:00 am and throughout the day it will be possible to admire in the area of the Parco del Grumello between the cedar tree and the villa the site-specific installation "Tra terra e cielo" created by the participants in the 2021 therapeutic art workshops held by the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, as part of the three-year KEPOS project, coordinated by Prof.ssa Laura Tonani, who recently passed away, and Prof.sa Nicoletta Braga.
A collective work inspired by the elements water, air and earth, the cycle of life and rebirth and made with vegetable waste and non-biodegradable material recovered, fixed in time through art and finally reintroduced in the proper path of recycling, respecting the environment.
The transformation of matter is a creative act, in itself therapeutic, even more so if shared with others. The creative act generates beauty, expressed through art, synthesis between nature and artifact, of which Grumello is the highest expression.
The presentation of the final installation is intertwined with an initiative to raise awareness about the use, recycling, reuse in particular of plastic and support with a fundraiser in favor of Lampedusa Turtle Rescue, to contribute to the care of sea turtles victims of the choices and behaviors of men harmful and disrespectful of the environment of which they are part.
To enhance the installation at 11:15 am the performance of dance theater also "Between earth and sky" of the collective KUN (with dancers Francesca Cervellino and Roberta Goeta and musician Riccardo Mini) in collaboration with actresses Cristina Quadrio and Letizia Torelli.
A site-specific performance in which contemporary dance, poetry and music blend with the scenery of the Villa and the Grumello Park and with the collective work created by Brera and the many participants in the 2021 workshops.
The performance is a dialogue between art and nature, which, with circular movement, investigates the power of life in constant renewal through the transformation of the elements.
