"SloWeekend - Magic and flavours of Lake Como" is a festival created in 2022 to introduce and experience in an authentic and exciting way four charming towns of Lake Como: Bellagio, Menaggio, Tremezzina and Varenna.
Themed tours of the historic centers, villas and spectacular locations of Lake Como, local producers markets, tastings and food&wine experiences, special menus and discounted rates in partner hotels, for a unique and unforgettable weekend.
A new way of exploring Lake Como, made up of visits to magnificent beauties but also of meetings and exchanges with farmers, fishermen, winemakers who will be the storytellers of their territories and special guides to the discovery of local traditions.

Saturday 18 March - 10.00 Walk through the romantic village of Varenna, along cobble stone streets and steps, with final tasting on the scenic terrace of the Vezio Castle based on "Polenta and Missoltin" (sun-dried shad, a Lake Como specialty included in the SlowFood presidium of Lake Como).
The hamlets of Bellagio coast to coast
Saturday 18 March - 2.30 pm
Guided tour of the picturesque hamlets of Bellagio - Pescallo, Oliverio and Regatola - with a tasting of local products at the "Silvio Restaurant", accompanied by stories and tales of Cristian Ponzini, a professional fisherman.
Villa Carlotta, walk and taste
Sunday 19 March - 10.00 am
Cultural and gastronomic itinerary inside the marvelous Villa Carlotta and its park, with a visit also to spaces usually not accessible to the public; at the end tasting of delicacies prepared with local ingredients, grown on the grounds of the Villa and in the surrounding area.

Sunday 19 March - 2.00 pm
Tour with tasting of local products to savor the true soul of Menaggio with all senses, from the famous historic center to the less-known hamlets; for the occasion, the interior and the Park of the elegant Villa Vigoni will also be open to visitors, one of the most incredible places on the Lario but little known because it is not often accessible to the public.
