Friday, August 07th at Villa del Balbianello, Tremezzina, at 11:30 a.m. and at 3:30 p.m. the event "SILENT No. 1 - Eloisa Manera (violin)", as part of LakeComo Music Festival 2020. Event organized in collaboration with FAI Fondo Ambiente Italiano.
SILENT No. 1 - Eloisa Manera (violin)
LakeComo Festival, in collaboration with Mondovisione and FAI, presents the first of some unique events combining music, landscape and art with a technological approach.
The public will be able to freely walk in the garden and the rooms of one of the most iconic location on Lake Como: Villa del Balbianello. Equipped with a HD wifi headphones one will be able to listen to information and stories of the place while observing the landscape and, from the point of the garden one prefers, listen to the concert.
Protagonist of this event will be Eloisa Manera, violinist of Italian-Spanish origins, who will play her electric violin – with her unique style that led her to collaborate with Herbie Hancock, Paolo Fresu, Noa, Skin, Giovanni Sollima, Enrico Intra (just to name a few) – directly in your ears, reshaping the beauty that enters your eyes with new emotions.
Eloisa will play at 11:30 and 15:30 from the loggia of Villa del Balbianello without producing evident sound. It will be possible to listen to her with headphones.

The ticket costs € 18,00 and includes:
- entrance to Villa del Balbianello (visit of the park and the villa)

Eloisa Manera
Italian-Spanish violinist, composer and improviser with a strong classical background is making herself more and more known in the jazz and creative music arena. Focusing on experimental music, art, and a keen interest on the anthropological-migratory character of music seen as the artistic dimension that represents the catalyst of different cultures, she has always been devoted to music with great curiosity and passion, analyzing the relationship between composing and improvising. In the past few years her most recent works include a solo album with electronics (Rondine, Swallow) and a project inspired by the Città Invisibili, The Invisible Citiesby Calvino with an eight-element ensemble.
