Francesca Amato won numerous national and international piano competitions and has been carrying out an intense concert activity for years that has seen her performing as soloist and in chamber ensembles in major Italian and European cities: Musiksaal of the University of Cologne, Forum des Cordeliers and Center Culturel Aerospatial in Toulouse, Great Hall of the Italian Cultural Institute in Vienna, Bulgaria Chamber Hall in Sofia, National Theater of Algiers, Stadthsalle di Unna, Manzoni Theater in Pistoia, Teatro del Popolo in Concordia (Modena), Palazzo Ducale in Venice, Circle of Artists of Turin and again in La Spezia, Florence, Siena, Lucca, Forlì, Perugia, Verona…
She recorded a CD entitled “Marvelous sufferings” dedicated to the music for four hands piano by Schubert, Schumann and Brahms.
She graduated in piano with full marks and honors at the “G. Frescobaldi” Conservatory in Ferrara. Subsequently she perfectionated at the Music School of Fiesole with Maria Tipo, at the International Higher School of Chamber Music in Duino with the Trio of Trieste, at the International Piano Academy of Imola with Pier Narciso Masi, obtaining the diploma in Chamber music.
She obtained a second level degree in concert with full marks and honors at the “G. Puccini ”of La Spezia.
She teaches piano at the Liceo Musicale in Pisa.
Sandra Landini performed concerts for years, giving recitals throughout Europe: Gasteig in Munich, Grieg Festival in Bergen (Norway), Fondation Pierre Gianadda in Martigny (Switzerland) Theater des Varietes in Monte Carlo, Musik Theater and University of Vienna, Foundation N Piccinni of Bari, St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh, National Academy of Lovran (Croatia) and also in Turin, Milan, Stresa, Lugano, London, Paris, Nuremberg, Dublin…
She has been repeatedly invited to the United States and has played for the Steinway Piano Series at the University of Florida, in the Kopleff Recital Hall in Atlanta, in the Bertelsmann Foundation Building in Athens and at Hugh Hodgson University Of Georgia.
As a soloist she performed with the State Philharmonic Orchestra of “J. Dumitrescu “of Romania (Chopin, Concerto n ° 1), Orchestra PJ Cajkovskij of the Republic of Udmurtia (Mozart Concerto for two pianos KV365) and at the Municipal Theater of Alexandria (JS Bach, Concerto for three pianos and orchestra BWV 1063, Symphony Orchestra of Sanremo (J. Charmichael, Concierto folklòrico for four hands piano and orchestra)
She won twenty national piano competitions.
She released a CD for Phoenix Classics dedicated to Chopin and Russian authors (Rachmaninov, Balakirev, Glinka).
She graduated from the “L. Cherubini ”in Florence with full marks and honors, subsequently perfecting himself with Orazio Frugoni and Maria Golia.
Actually she is piano teacher at the “A. Boito” Conservatory of Parma.
