Starting from 16 February until 31 March with 56 works by as many young artists from 7 different countries, it will be in Como the only Italian stage of the Biennale of Contemporary Art Young European Creation - JCE Jeune Création Européenne, after having been in France, Denmark, Latvia and Romania, and before continuing to Spain and Portugal.
The works exhibited in the Como edition are divided into two main locations: Pinacoteca Civica and San Pietro in Atrio.
These works range from painting to photography, from video art to installation and sculpture, and are not classically divided according to origin, but exhibited in intercultural dialogue with each other for styles, affinities and trends.
Other exceptional venues of the exhibition are 6 high schools in the city, for which a work has been selected from each partner country, with the intention of bringing more and more young people to contemporary art.
The event in its Italian stage is curated by the architect Piero Mazzoli and enjoys the patronage of the Regione Lombardia and GAI (Association for the Circuit of Young Italian Artists).
