Every second Saturday of the month the symbol of the Como area opens its ancient doors to children to become a place of fun, experimentation, freedom and ... magic.
A series of workshops that are always different, fun and educational, in the setting of a fantastic Castle.
And for parents? While children have fun with the laboratory, parents can enjoy a guided tour of the Castle and, from the terrace of the tower, admire a breathtaking 360-degree view of Como and the First Basin of the Lake.
When: Every second Saturday of the month
Duration of workshops: 1h, 30 min
Workshop times: 14:30 and 16:00
Age of children admitted: from 6 to 12 years old.
Maximum number of children admitted: 10
Rules for visiting the castle: Parents/caretakers of children can visit the castle during the workshop (standard tour price). Duration of the visit to the castle (40 min).
Dragons and Magic Potions
The children will discover the story of the dragon that guards the castle and following various clues they will have to find all the ingredients to prepare a magic potion. Everything will have to be done properly, and only then will the dragon give them permission to enter the castle.
An adventure with lots of surprises and a touch of magic!

After potions and dragons, now it's up to the inventiveness of each child. In the magical setting of the castle, after listening to the story of the adventures of Barbarossa, children will be guided to the discovery of colors and then make a beautiful T-shirt. Only if it is cheerful enough will Barbarossa let them pass through the gate!
Assault on the Castle
It is certainly not possible to assault with your bare hands a castle that has been here for more than a thousand years! So come on, with various materials and a lot of imagination, children will have to build the right equipment with which to assault the tower. But to get in, they will have to pass one last, very important test!
