The FAI Autumn Days will take place on October 13 and 14 2018.
During these special days FAI, the Italian National Trust opens its hidden treasures to the public to celebrate the Italian cultural heritage.
It's a unique opportunity to discover churches, villas, castles, historical towns, gardens, and nature trails often closed to the public, thanks to the the work of volunteers.
Lake Como is ready to welcome the visitors that will take the opportunity to discover some of its beautiful treasures: the Villa del Balbianello, with its spectacular gardens right down to the edge of the lake; the Torre del Soccorso, a fortified tower located on a rocky outcrop above the village of Ossuccio, with an amazing view over the Comacina Island and Lake Como and Museo Barca Lariana, Lake Como International Museum of Vintage Boats.

Villa Balbianello

Opening times
From 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (last entrance to the gardens at 5:15 pm)
Open for the free visits: the gardens. The room of the Villa will be open only for FAI members (last entrance at 4:30 pm). Guided tours in English.
No fee for the entrance but a suggested 5 euro donation is very welcome.
Dogs are welcome in the gardens of Villa del Balbianello.

Not far from Tremezzina, at Oria di Valsolda, it is possible to visit Villa Fogazzaro Roi, a beautiful 19th century house owned by FAI.
