Thursday 29 August at 9:00 pm in Piazza della Palma in Bellagio, on the lakeshore Marconi, for the festival Bellagio in Blues 2019 will perform Blues Ghetto.
Traditional electric blues quarter (vocal/harmonic - electric guitar - double bass - drums) characterized by bare and caustic sounds of strong emotional impact.
Drawing on the great interpreters of the genre (Little Walter, Muddy Waters, T-Bone Walker, Howlin' Wolf, Magic Sam, Sonny Boy Williamson) the Blues Ghetto is a very dynamic and energetic musical proposal that filters the classics of the Blues giving them back with a decidedly more modern, captivating and engaging formula.
The passion of the single components for Afro-American music thus crosses interconnected territories and sub-genres that are then part of the musical proposal of the combo that ranges from the essential sounds of the Mississippi Blues to the more nervous and torrid ones of the Urban Blues of Chicago in a mixture of pressing yet diversified rhythms: Boogie, Swing, Zydeco, Rhythm&Blues, "hypnotic" Shuffle and Funky.
Bellagio in Blues
Not only orchestra concerts during the summer. In addition to the Festival of Bellagio and Lake Como, there will be the Bellagio in Blues, a music festival dedicated to the Bellagio Blues.
We wanted to give an extra sprint to the city, to welcome the foreign tourists used in their cities to listening to street music with the performances of quality musicians.
