The Tower of Villa according to historians was built between the 14th and 15th century for fiscal reasons linked to levy taxes.
The tower has been restored in the second half of the 20th century and some evidences appeared during the works seemed to indicate that the building was affected by a big fire.
The building dominates the village of Lenno with its massive bulk consisting of Moltrasio stone masonry, with a thickness of about 1.5 meters at the base and height of about 19.20 meters, in which there are eight windows.
