Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine del Soccorso

The Sanctuary is located at the end of the Sacred Mountain of Ossuccio avenue, in a beautiful position overlooking the lake, the Comacina island and the Tremezzina area.
Included in 2003 in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Sacred Mountain of Ossuccio consists of the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Succour and fourteen chapels illustrating the Mysteries of the Rosary through 230 clay sculptures produced by stucco artists from the Intelvi valley.
