The Sacred Mountain of Ossuccio, included in 2003 in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, consists of the Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine del Soccorso and fourteen chapels illustrating the Mysteries of the Rosary through 230 clay sculptures produced by stucco artists from the Intelvi valley.
The path of the chapels starts from the hamlet of Molgisio (Lenno) and follows gradual slopes along a tree-lined avenue, leading up to the Sanctuary, located in a beautiful postion overlooking Lake Como and Trmezzina.
