In the Abbate House, known in the village as Casa del Vescovo, two frescoes decorate a large room on the ground floor and a hall on the first floor. In the first room, the Allegory of the Four Elements stands out, depicting on the left a woman with a turreted crown, symbol of the Earth, leaning against a lion; in the center, Neptune, armed with a trident, symbol of Water; on the sides, one on the right, the other on the left, two deities representing Fire, with a flaming urn, and Air, with drapes in the wind and a peacock. To consolidate the composition of the painting, the figure of Phoebus appears in the sky, surrounded by a halo of light. More modest, and unfortunately partly damaged, the Allegorical fresco with mythological figures on the first floor. The composition of the work is not cohesive, with figures that have no connection to each other, though formally correct, where the usual dramatic impulse is softened, as exemplified by a fallen giant. However, the figure of Time stands out, with a superb view of the hand in the foreground, notable for its color intensity and the strength of the brushstroke.
