The Carducci Association, founded in 1903 as Pro Cultura Popolare, had as its mission to support the action of the State in the dissemination of culture among the poorer classes, through technical courses, courses of artistic and musical culture, concerts, conferences; it was supported by the joint initiative of its creator Enrico Musa, together with the economic support of many industrialists and the Cassa di Risparmio delle Provincie Lombarde (CARIPLO).
Now, changed the social conditions of acculturation, the Carducci Association proposes to offer to the widest possible audience, to the young, to the less young, to the third age more and more numerous, a cultural deepening in the free time that everyone has available, retracing the furrow of its tradition: theater, music and concerts, courses of painting, sculpture, engraving, conferences and cultural trips. The association is also a space open to the city and its many institutions.
