The Gravedona Chamber Music Festival, organized by the ClassicAreale Association , was born from the desire of Dr Clara Curtoni and Master Jacopo Di Tonno to spread the beauty and magic of chamber music, with the conviction that music is the best medicine for the soul.
It is a major event in the panorama of European classical music festivals and every year hosts performances by artists and groups of international renown.
With great enthusiasm the cellist Enrico Dindo accepted the honorary presidency of the Festival and his conception of the music will be a model and common thread for the 2019 edition.
After the great success of the first edition, this year two very special artists will open the Festival: Alexander Lonquich and Cristina Barbuti, musicians of rare sensitivity who will perform in two different compositions. Very welcome will be the return for two concerts by Francesca Dego, supporter of the project and honorary member of the Association, which has accepted with enthusiasm to bring its contribution to the musical life of Lake Como, being originally from Colico.
