Arte Solidale Festival 2022

Arte Solidale Festival is a charity review of classical music concerts, which takes place every year in the Lake Como area.

The mission of the festival is to support young artists and at the same time to raise funds and help children in difficulty in the area by collaborating with local social organisations.

The concerts take place in the main villas and historical residences in Lake Como area, where composers such as J. Brahms and F. Liszt once resided. The Festival presents thematic concerts that are illustrated and explained to the public, offering solo, chamber and symphonic concerts. Every year, the Festival also presents concerts especially for children and families.

In its previous seven editions, the Festival presented international artists from Italy, England, Latvia, the USA, Spain, France, Slovenia and Russia. The 2020 and 2021 festivals were held in September due to the health situation, hosting the Crescendo Youth Orchestra, as well as several chamber music concerts. The concerts took place in world-famous residences, such as Villa Balbianello and Villa Carlotta in Tremezzina.

Arte Solidale Festival 2022 will take place from 10 to 18 September.

As it does every year, the Festival raises funds for minors in distress, collaborating with local social organisations, such as the Coordinamento Comasco per l’accoglienza dei minori and the Cooperativa Azalea (Tremezzina). This is because all the musicians and artists involved in the Festival share the principle of supporting minors, deeply understanding the need for a stable and healthy condition during childhood.
