Ton Koopman and Klaus Mertens

Saturday 6 July 2019 at 21:00 within the LacMus Festival 2019 will be held the concert Ton Koopman and Klaus Mertens at the Anglican Church of the Ascension of Cadenabbia.

The eighteenth-century programme will be hosted by the Anglican Church of the Ascension of Cadenabbia: from Haendel to Haydn and Mozart, passing through Johann Sebastian and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, a journey that will highlight different types of writing for the voice and the keyboard, starting from the polyphonic geometries of the Baroque to arrive, through the gallant style and the Empfindsamer Stil, at a new classical balance.
