"SloWeekend - Magic and flavours of Lake Como" is a festival created in 2022 to introduce and experience in an authentic and exciting way four charming towns of Lake Como: Bellagio, Menaggio, Tremezzina and Varenna.
Themed tours of the historic centers, villas and spectacular locations of Lake Como, local producers markets, tastings and food&wine experiences, special menus and discounted rates in partner hotels, for a unique and unforgettable weekend.
A new way of exploring Lake Como, made up of visits to magnificent beauties but also of meetings and exchanges with farmers, fishermen, winemakers who will be the storytellers of their territories and special guides to the discovery of local traditions.

A walk in the hills of Varenna to immerse ourselves in the woods and feel the atmosphere and the colors of autumn. Along the way we will have a delicious snack of roasted chestnuts and mulled wine.

The king of Bellagio: il toc Saturday 4 November - at 14.00
A walking tour with a tour guide that will lead you to the Antica Latteria di Bellagio where, with the help of the chef Luigi Gandola, we will discover the ancient cheesemaking art in Bellagio and one of the greatest local delicacies: the toc that boasts more than 150 years of history.
In the past it was prepared only on Sundays, when families could meet. Therefore it has become the symbol of conviviality and good company.
At the end of the tour we will taste the toc prepared in the traditional way: "The magic of toc is that there is the butter but you don't grease yourself, it is hot but you don't get burnt and it is compact but it does not stick to the fingers".

Lenno: a thousand-year history and immortal flavours Sunday 05 novembre - at 10.30
Walking tour among the beauties of Lenno, a town with a thousand-year history. At the end we will walk along the lakefront to the historical Albergo Lenno. There we will know more about the delicacies from Tremezzina and their production. The itinerary will end with a tasting of local food.

A walking tour in the romantic town of Varenna, where time seems to have stopped, with Nadia, a true local guide, to discover stories and curiosities of this wonderful place.
A 3 hours experience among the alleys and the picturesque hidden corners to meet the local craftmen. At the end of the tour we will taste excellent local prducts.
