On Saturday 11th March, Villa del Balbianello opens the 2017 season and welcomes its visitors with its magnificent garden and museum.
Always one of the most beautiful and romantic residences of lake Como, Villa del Balbianello, located in the charming hamlet of Lenno (Tremezzina), overlooks an enchanting wooded promontory, at the extreme point of the Dosso di Lavedo, which plunges into the waters of the lake forming a small peninsula.
The great attraction of the Villa is the beautiful garden, organized on different levels to exploit the characteristics of the promontory, with its ornamental trees, including a majestic oak and plane trees pruned in candelabrum. The garden is dominated by the elegant Loggia. A masterpiece in itself where every element is in relation to the lake, its shores and the charm of the water.
From mid-March to mid-November: 10am - 6pm.
Open every day, except Mondays and Wednesday (unless public holidays).
Entry to the Garden is still possible up to 5.15 pm.
Last entry in the Villa 4.30 pm according to availability.

Tours inside the Villa, limited to a maximum of 15 people, are conducted by a FAI guide.
They take approximately 60 minutes.
