Description
From February 19, 2021 the garden of Villa Monastero in Varenna will be open again.
Visitors will be able to admire the beautiful botanical garden by the lake and the house museum with its exhibition that develops in 14 rooms.
Villa Monastero is surrounded by a garden rich in rare and particular botanical species, arranged in terraces that have favored the articulation of the garden in a sequence of frames always different, but with some recurring elements.
Thanks to the particularly mitigated climate typical of the lake, botanical rarities from all over the world coexist and are increased year after year.
Villa Monastero is also a House Museum, thanks to the abundance of testimonies left over time by its owners; four centuries of history, taste and style that overlap and merge to form a jewel on Lake Como.

- February: 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (days and times may vary due to health emergency)

- June, July and August: daily from 9:30 am to 8:00 pm
