Massages at the museum

At Villa Bernasconi arrive the silk caresses from 14 January 2019 until 30 April every Monday and Tuesday from 15:00 to 18:00 (excluding 4 and 5 March, 22 and 23 April).

Il tocco della seta. Un’esperienza di relax al museo, this is the name of the initiative, which involves the Municipality, CIAS Formazione Professionale Impresa Sociale of Como and the Confartigianato Imprese Como, Fashion and Wellness sector.
It is a relaxing massage to face, neck and shoulders, made with a silk foulard, for all visitors to Villa Bernasconi.
This relaxing treatment involves shoulders, head and neck and lasts about 15 minutes. It is included in the cost of the Museum ticket.

The oscillation manoeuvres will be performed with silk scarves, increasing their relaxing effect. In fact, the silk, which has a thermoregulating effect, allows acupressure on the face and head to reactivate the microcirculation and regulate the breath for greater oxygenation that immediately gives a feeling of well-being.

The experience will take place in the museum room dedicated to the Bernasconi silk weaving, where there is one of the novelties of the latest and most recent installation: the multisensory scenographic installation On the wings of silk created by an artistic team which includes the set designer Ivo Tomasi, trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brera and perfected at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the set designer and decorator Elisabetta Guglielmo, owner of a workshop of artistic installations, and the sound engineer and musician Giorgio Andreoli.

The treatment, lasting 15 minutes, will be free, ie including the cost of admission to the museum. However, reservations must be made on the website villabernasconi.eu.
