The Trio Italiano was born from the musical passion of an entire family,
Endrio Luti accordion, Cristina Trimarco bassoon and Thomas Luti saxophone.
The trio carries out an intense artistic activity both in Italy and abroad, its members, in addition to the trio’s activity, also perform in other chamber contexts for prestigious bodies and musical associations such as:
Accademia di Santa Cecilia of Rome, Concert Society of La Spezia, Agimus of Syracuse, Friends of the Theater of Avola, Teatro Regio of Parma, La Croma musical association, Municipal Theater of San Remo, Corelli Association of Savona, The streets of the Baroque (Genoa), A.Toscanini International Association of Avellino, Araba Fenice Association of Terni, Nardini Festival of Livorno, Monferrato Classica…
What the Trio Italiano offers is an original program that ranges from Balkan, Jewish, Klezmer, South American traditions up to transcriptions of classical pieces.
Through the identification of these repertoires, this group wants to give shape to an ensemble whose protagonists are the Accordion, the Saxophone and the Bassoon; three instruments which, despite having different musical traditions, manage to dialogue with a great sound balance and surprising atmospheres.
