From Dudovich's fashion to the silk of Villa Bernasconi: we learn to paint on silk some motifs and decorations that have symbolized Art Nouveau and the Belle Époque. We will be inspired by the photographic and pictorial art of Marcello Dudovich and by Villa Bernasconi, the house that speaks, with its interesting didactic and historical path. We will explore the world of silk, its origins, the production cycle and metamorphosis, together with the splendid works of the famous artist and advertiser who for a long time dedicated his work to the world of fashion. We will then paint together, small foulards to wear, accompanied by the musical notes of period composers and musicians and in particular by the notes of Erik Satie.
A multifaceted artist, she has dedicated herself to painting as a decorator, illustrator, stage painter and in recent years as a performer in synesthesia with other arts, particularly music.
She is artistic director of the Atelier Sinestesie in Como where she leads courses in painting and sculpture and synesthesia for adults and children. She has been collaborating for many years with musicians and composers who see her as a visual artist in synaesthetic projects.
The collaboration with Andrea Talmelli, musician, composer, director of the conservatories of Reggio Emilia and Parma and currently director of the Society of Contemporary Music in Milan, is leading her to explore new possibilities of common languages among the arts. In the rediscovery of Applied Arts and Design, she has returned to her first working passion of painting on fabric by painting silk and creating fabric designs for fashion clothing companies in Como, participating with her work in Premier Vision Paris.
