Tuesday 29 January starting from 18:30 the Tempio Voltiano, symbol of the city of Alessandro Volta, will be illuminated in pink, the color of Giro d'Italia 2019.
The lighting will start the 102 days that separate the city from the 102nd edition of the Giro d'Italia with the Como stage scheduled for Sunday 26 May.
The lake will also be the protagonist: from the Tempio Voltiano will start two beams of light that will form a "V" in the first basin, one directed towards Villa Olmo and one towards Villa Geno. The fountain of piazza Camerlata will be also illuminated in pink.
