Rogaro is a very small town located on a plateau which gradually goes down towards the lake. Rogaro is surrounded by meadows and woods and it composes of a group of farmhouses surrounding the Baroque square of the oratory of the Madonna di Einsiedeln.
Not far from the hamlet and overlooking the Tremezzina area and the lake, lie the ruins of the mediaeval Tower of Rogaro that once formed part of the defence system of the Comacina Island.
