Best beaches in Tremezzina, Lake Como

In Tremezzina there are many beaches and lidos to have fun on the water or just relax surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of Lake Como.

Here you can find a list of Tremezzina’s best beaches, starting from the free ones.

In Colonno there is a quiet and intimate sandy beach that can be reached on foot from the church square of the village, perfect for those who do not like crowded places.

Then at Sala Comacina there is the Walter Mai Park, which, in addition to have a wide lawn, located on the left of the Lido di Sala Comacina bar and restaurant, has a football field and basketball court, a playground, a beach-volleyball court and bowls.

For those who prefer to lie down and relax on the sand, a few meters from the boat dock there is a small free beach, perfect for the little ones.

Moving from Sala to Ossuccio we find a romantic and suggestive corner, a rocky beach known as “Miralago”. This place is located in front of Isola Comacina, far from the center of neighboring villages. The breathtaking view and also the quiet of this place are a plus.

In Ossuccio there is the wellknown Lido of Ossuccio, from here Isola Comacina is easily reachable by swim. Known for its extensive lawn with olive trees, it is the most appreciated by teenagers.

Crossing the bridge over the Perlana river, you can find a rocky beach at the mouth of the river, prefect for families with kids.

Then we arrive at the edge of Lenno and we find the Golfo di Venere: a beautiful garden located at the end of the lakeshore, just after Navigation. Here is a small stairway that allows access to the lake from the lawn, and a few meters later we can see the beach in front of Hotel San Giorgio. To split the two bathing spots there is a small bar, the Chiosco di Venere.

We go on and we arrive in Mezzegra: first we find the Lake Terrace famous for the magnificent panorama, reachable through a gate to the right of the municipal park trail, and soon after Villa Amila we find another beach at the mouth of a river.

As for Tremezzo we must name Teresio Olivelli Park (former Meier Park), which hosts several events during the summer evenings. It is a very lush lawn with a bar, with a pretty fountain in the center; Loved by young people just because it is bordered by a beach volleyball court and a children’s playground.

Finally we end with the Beau Rivage beach in Griante, that is, a long stretch of rocky beach visible from the highway leading to Menaggio and very appreciated for its rather ventilated location.
