The Municipality of Varenna and the Association of Tourist Operators of Varenna and Perledo are pleased to announce that this year the National Acrobatic Patrol " Tricolor Arrows " will perform in the skies of the center of Lake Como, the coast of Varenna, for the aerobatic show "Varenna AirShow", which you can admire Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September from 10:30 am to about 12:30 am.
An event which involves world-famous flight professionals to offer an air show of enormous charm. This event could be realized thanks to Prima Aviation and Aeroclub of Como with the basic support of the Air Force.
The air show will start after the demonstration of the HH139A, a Leonardo helicopter built in Italy. Then there will be other talented Pilots and Teams who will excite the audience present. Amphibian and seaplane planes are also expected to participate, as they have written unforgettable pages of aeronautical history right on the waters of our lake.
To conclude the show in the best possible way, the highly anticipated Tricolour Arrows, which will reach the skies of Varenna around 11:00 am.
The PAN ( National Aerobatic Patrol ) was founded in 1960 by the Air Force General Staff who wanted to set up a department specifically dedicated to aerobatic training. The " Tricolour Arrows", the largest acrobatic team which crosses the skies of the world with its spectacular acrobatics, include the best Italian pilots and are an expression of national values and passion for flying, an example of professionalism, self-denial, body spirit and sense of discipline.
