The evocative setting of the Church of Santa Marta in Varenna will host an unmissable event of the sixth edition of the Varenna Festival on Thursday, August 7, at 9:15 PM. The evening’s featured performers will be the Trio Milano Virtuosa, composed of Anna Glibchuk (violin), Gianfranco Messina (viola), and Alexander Zjumbrovskij (cello).
The concert program includes an elegant selection of works by Franz Schubert and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, offering a musical journey that blends the grace of classicism with the expressive depth of early romanticism.
Trio Milano Virtuosa has already gained recognition on both the Italian and international concert scenes. Notable milestones in their career include:
2019: participation in the Milano Virtuosa Festival at Spazio Classica (Milan);
2020: concert as part of the Ultrapadum Festival
2021: tour in Poland and a performance at the prestigious Smetana Hall in Prague
2022–2024: numerous concerts across Italy, including stops in Milan, Varese, Bergamo, and Trento.
