THE ARTIST
Anna Lisa Bellini, pianoforte
Anna Lisa Bellini carries out a brilliant concert activity which sees her perform internationally in Germany, Chile, Japan, France, Belgium, Switzerland and in the major Italian musical centers such as Genoa (Teatro Carlo Felice), Rome (Oratorio del Gonfalone), Parma ( Teatro Regio), Siena (Settimana Musicale Senese), Mantua (Palazzo Te), Florence, Naples, Ferrara, Pistoia, Modena, Bergamo…
She discovered her vocation for the piano at the age of seven and, under the guidance of Giuliana Bordoni Brengola, graduated from the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia with top marks and honours, obtaining the special prize “E. Iacovelli-Marchi” for the best diploma. She followed specialization courses at the Fiesole School of Music with Maria Tipo who wrote about her: “Her skills of sensitivity, communication and intelligence are exceptional and her taste for the beauty of sound is remarkable: she possesses the qualities of a pianist of race.” She obtained a second level concert degree with top marks and honors from the “S. Cecilia of Rome”.
She won first prizes in important competitions such as the European Contemporary Music Competition “B. Bartòk”, “Italian Cup” of Osimo, “M. Clementi-Kawai” of Florence, “A. Mozzati” of Milan, “Martha Del Vecchio” of Arenzano (GE). She received the Diploma of Honor from the Accademia Musicale Chigiana of Siena where she attended chamber music courses with Riccardo Brengola and for which she was a stable member of the “Guido Chigi” Quintet/Quartet from 1990 to 1996.
She has collaborated on a regular basis with Luigi Alberto Bianchi, Gianluca Giganti, Wolfgang Marschner, Ariane Mathaeus, Carlo Maria Parazzoli, Alfredo Persichilli and Angelo Persichilli. She performed at Palazzo Chigi in Siena in the presence of the Emperor of Japan Akihito and the Empress Michico on the occasion of their only visit to Italy.
She was the protagonist of premieres including the world premiere of the Tansman Quintet, the first performance in Germany of the Skalkottas Trio, the world premiere of 4 Masks of Dionysus by Carlo Galante and the world premiere of Mario Guido’s Walk by the Sea Scappucci (song dedicated to her).
She was a guest on important cultural programs broadcast on Rai2, Radio2, Radio3 and Vatican Radio.
She recorded various CDs with music by Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, Dvořák and Busoni.
For her artistic career, the Canova Club of Rome awarded her the prestigious “R.O.S.A Special Plaque for Results Obtained Without Help”. Vittorio Sgarbi awarded her the 2019 Efebo Città di Sutri Award by virtue of “talent is audacity, free spirit, broad ideas”.
