Friday 6 March 2020, Ecological walk to the Cross of Vezio on the occasion of the event Lighting less - energy saving festival.
Also this year the Municipality of Varenna will participate in the event "M'illumino di meno", the Festival of energy saving of sustainable lifestyles, organized by Caterpillar broadcast by Radio2. Turning off the lights and witnessing one's interest in the future of humanity remains a concrete initiative, not only symbolic, and very much participated.

Departure of the walk at 20:30, along Via Roma and the Sentiero del Viandante to reach first the village of Vezio and then the Cross of Vezio.
Useful information
The route has an altitude difference of 350 m, and a hiking difficulty (E).
The use of clothing appropriate to the hike is recommended.
In case of bad weather the event will be cancelled.
