On Monday 22 April from 10:00 to 16:00 at Villa Melzi d’Eril, Bellagio returns the annual appointment with Botanical Treasure Hunt 2019, an event conceived and promoted by the network Grandi Giardini Italiani.
For the occasion Villa Melzi is tinged with 5 different colors designed in collaboration with Il Mondo di TELS (Association specializing in language teaching and travel), and IOLAS (Association for the study and conservation of butterflies).
In English and Italian, with a parallel route for adults and children, at each stage there will be epic and botanical suggestions the magical story of the life cycle of the butterfly. For all, at each stop, a simple exercise of mindfulness to expand the senses, discover their colors and the treasure that is in us.
At the entrance of the Park each participant will receive a map and the question list to get to the 5 treasures, and can enjoy the search in family or independently.
At 11:00 and 14:30, in the orangery of the park, the naturalist Francesco Gatti, a scientist, will discover the secrets of the 120 species of butterflies present in Northern Italy, with suggestions and ideas to become butterfly-watcher experts.
For all children who end the hunt, there will be a colorful surprise to take home and one to enjoy before greeting the gardens of the Villa.
The Botanical Treasure Hunt will take place from 10:00 to 16:00:
