Sunday, 13th November, from 15:00 until 18:00, at the Cooperativa Azalea di Tremezzo, Associazione LariOm organizes the second meeting dedicated to the natural dyeing of wool.
An expert and enthusiast teacher, flowers, roots, scented woods, powders and willingness to experiment are the ingredients of this meeting dedicated to natural dyeing that could become a hobby, a craft, an art, a pastime, surely something that will stimulate your curiosity.
A whole of knowledges formed over thousands of years and handed down until today through the most ancient traditions of different people all over the world: Indians from India and America, Aztecs, Japanese, Australians, Africans, people from Northern and Southern Europe.
During this second meeting you will be shown how to spin and dye the woll yellow.
For the occasion please bring dried marigold flowers, onion peel and, if you have them, spindles and spinning wheels.
