On Sunday 27th September at 7 pm the splendid Villa del Balbianello, in Tremezzina, will be the setting for the second stage of the festival which will feature I Solisti Veneti - Ensemble Vivaldi.
An unmissable opportunity to meet the famous Italian chamber orchestra based in Padua, internationally famous particularly for its performances of Veneto music from the 18th century, even though its repertoire ranges from 1500 to the present day.
I SOLISTI VENETI - ENSEMBLE VIVALDI
The Ensemble Vivaldi is a chamber ensemble composed of the most popular members of "I Solisti Veneti".
The orchestra, which celebrated its 60th concert season in 2019, was founded in 1959 and always conducted by Claudio Scimone. It quickly reached the top of world values, arousing the unconditional enthusiasm of the public and critics with more than 6,000 concerts in over 90 countries, participation in the top International Festivals (over 30 concerts at the Salzburg Festival), a discography of over 350 titles in LPs, CDs and DVDs, a rich series of cultural and promotional activities and musical and historical editions.
In the name and sign of their founder and Director, who died in 2018, "I Solisti Veneti", the Artistic Director Clementine Hoogendoorn Scimone and the Principal Director Giuliano Carella continue to perpetuate the spiritual and aesthetic heritage of Maestro Claudio Scimone.
