On Saturday 5th September at 11:30 a.m. in Villa del Balbianello, Tremezzina there will be the event "SILENT No.2 - Filadelfo Castro (guitar and loop station)", for the LakeComo Music Festival 2020.
Event organized by Associazione Amadeus Arte in collaboration with Mondovisione and FAI Fondo Ambiente Italiano.
SILENT No.2 - Filadelfo Castro
LakeComo Festival, in collaboration with Mondovisione and FAI, presents the second Silent concert combining music, landscape and art with a technological approach.
The public will be able to freely walk in the garden and the rooms of one of the most iconic location on Lake Como: Villa del Balbianello. Equipped with a HD wifi headphones one will be able to listen to information and stories of the place while observing the landscape and, from the point of the garden one prefers, listen to the concert, reshaping the beauty that enters your eyes with new emotions.
Protagonist of this event will be Filadelfo Castro, producer, composer and guitarist from Como. Filadelfo has played as a guitarist with the main Italian pop artists, has arranged and produced music for artists such as Pooh, Max Pezzali, Gatto Panceri, Rita Pavone…
Filadelfo will present a mix of jazz standards for guitar and loop station.
Concert will take place at 11:30 at Villa del Balbianello without producing evident sound. It will be possible to listen to it with headphones.
Access to the Villa del Balbianello is possible from 10:30 am. You can also stay after the concert for the visit.
The ticket costs € 18,00 and includes:
- entrance to Villa del Balbianello (visit of the park and the villa)
- wifi headset with special content on the villa
He was born in Como in 1976 and studied classical guitar with Maestro Guido Fichtner and modern guitar attending internships and masterclasses with internationally renowned musicians (Frank Gambale, Pat Metheney, John Scofield, Steff Burns, Mike Stern, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jim Kelly and many others).
He has published 4 books dedicated to guitar with Bmg Ricordi (Le scale per chitarra moderna, Tecnica ritmica fondamentale, L'enciclopedia del Virtuosismo 1 e 2), always placing himself in the top 10 places of the sales charts. In 2013 he published a new book: "Jazz GuitarIimprovisation" for the publisher Volontè&Co with a remarkable success with the public and critics and a constant presence among the best reviewed and best-selling books of iTunes.
He works as guitarist, producer, arranger and author with many nationally and internationally renowned artists, among them: Pooh, Max Pezzali, Gatto Panceri, Valerio Scanu, Dodi Battaglia, Daniele Battaglia, Claudio Cecchetto, Luca Chiaravalli, Lola Ponce, Marie Claire Dubaldo, Roberta Bonanno (Amici), Brenda Cardullo, Pago, Deasonika, Luca Dono (Amici), 4Sound (XFactor), Los Locos, Giacomo Celentano, Rocco Barbaro, Marco and Charlotte Ferradini, Mara Sottocornola, Andrea Nocera (The Voice), Beatrice Ferrantino (I leave you a song, The Voice), Bouchra Dibe, Leonardo Decarli, Matteo Lotti, Simone Tomassini, Paolo Meneguzzi and many others (participating in over 60 records) and playing in live shows, radio and TV with artists such as: Gatto Panceri, Daniele Battaglia, Kekko (Moda'), Pupo, Cristina D'Avena, Alexia, Viola Valentino and others.
Among the international artists he collaborated with Miro (Eastern Europe), Pepe Lopez (Cuba), Paolo Nutini (World Artist), Chris Joyce (Simply Red - International Artist), Tommy Emmanuel & Dodi Battaglia and others.
He currently has his own recording studio in Como where he works as Guitarist, Arranger, Producer and Author.
Participating in a show will not be as easy as before, but neither will it be as different from going to a store or supermarket. We suggest you to live it calmly and consider various oddities as a small show inside the show also because it is not possible to do otherwise if you decide to participate.
