Friday 17 July 2020, 17:30 hours, at Villa Carlotta, Tremezzina, will take place the concert “Romanza” by Miquel Tamarit and Renata Benvegnù with music by Poulenc, Saint-Saëns and Debussy.
The great clarinetist literature with two exceptional interpreters, for the first time at Villa Carlotta.
Born in Valencia, Miquel Tamarit graduated from the Conservatory of Music of Valencia. He studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and the Hochschule für Musik und Dasrstellende Kunst in Vienna, Austria, where he received clarinet and chamber music lessons with Professor Alfred Prinz and Ernst Ottensamer, soloists of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
In 1990 he founded the “Johannes Brahms Trio” and performed in numerous Spanish concerts. He has collaborated with musicians such as Cristian Florea, Rasvan Neculai, Bela Kovacs, Lluis Claret, Roland Pröll, Josep Carreras, Placido Domingo and Teresa Berganza.
Renata Benvegnù graduated in Piano in 2006 with honors, praise and special mention. In 2011 she obtained the Diploma of High Level Piano Perfection with full marks at the Accademia Nazionale Santa Cecilia. In 2012 she obtained the Master of Music “Concert Project” at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
