From September 24th (opening at 18:00 live on Facebook) the Museo Didattico della Seta in via Castelnuovo in Como will host the photographic exhibition "Black Wave" curated by Francesca Gamba, with images by Carlo Pozzoni.
This is the visual goal of a project of ethical fashion and integrated creativity conceived and curated by Francesca Gamba.
The exhibition will continue until December 30 and will be open from Tuesday to Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (entrance to the Museum € 10,00 exhibition included; reduced to € 7,00 for over 65 and Como residents).
The exhibition open from September 24th to December 30th is the result of a project of social inclusion in the sign of creativity and art that involved the hairstyle and aesthetics classes of the institute Cias Formazione Professionale, girls and boys seeking international protection of the Cooperativa Intesa Sociale of Como, the graphic design students of Isis Paolo Carcano for the post production of the photos and the tailoring workshop of the Parish of Rebbio Karalò for the making of clothes.
The African boys and girls requesting international protection from the Cooperativa Intesa Sociale, after two courses for hairdressers at the CIAS under the guidance of the teacher Verleda Cini and obtaining a diploma of merit, did their best together with the students of the CIAS school in hairstyles and make-up to tell the story of the black wave, the return of the Afro style in western fashion and culture.
