Wednesday 10 August at the Teresio Olivelli Park in Tremezzina, the third evening of the Tremezzina Music Festival with the concert Paradiso #3 with Phase Duo.
Phase Duo mixes different worlds: analogue and digital, tangible and spiritual, classical and electronic. Eloisa Manera plays a violin, a 5-string electric violin with effects, Stefano Greco plays monochord and uses samplers and synthesisers live.
La loro musica ha un sapore cinematografico e uno spazio immaginario con un forte impatto sonoro e un approccio creativo e improvvisato.
Their second album was recently released by Chant Records, New York. Paradiso is a spiritual concert-show that traces centuries of music history, through the reworking of some masterpieces of the past, from Bach to Mozart, alongside contemporary composers and techniques.
The result is a visionary journey between Dante's Inferno and Paradise, verses from the Supreme Poet and contemporary poetry; an original production with Roberto Olzer (organ), Andrea Baronchelli (trombones), Joo Cho(soprano) and Debora Mancini (reciting voice).
