Saturday 3rd October at 5.30 p.m. at the Silk Museum of Como opening of the exhibition "MADE IN ITALY" curated by Maria Cristina Brandini.
A collective exhibition of great Italian photographers, and not only, wanted by Maria Cristina Brandini, an established and passionate Italian curator, to celebrate Italian Fashion in photography.
Among the big names present: Giovanni Gastel, world famous photographer, Stefano Babic, Alessio Cocchi, Fabrizio Mazzoni, Efrem Raimondi and Andrea Varani. On display also some photographs by Laura Morino, former top model and Milanese pr who will bring her ageless beauty in person and in photography, taken by Giovanni Gastel and Alessandro Vasapolli.
Also on display is a set of mannequins dressed in kimonos and precious silk cuts by Seteria CLERICI-TESSUTO, set up by Flavia Proserpio, teacher at the glorious Silk Factory, together with a group of her students. And two more archival garments made by Signora della Moda Raffella Curiel.
And in a great feast of photography cannot miss great photographer guests: Daniel Grandolfi who will present some suggestive body painting shots and Irina Litvinenko, a young and talented Ukrainian photographer.
The exhibition was made possible also thanks to the precious contribution of Giovanna Baglio and Paolo Aquilini, President and Director of the Silk Museum of Como, who, close to celebrating 30 years of activity, made their spaces available free of charge.
