The history of the textile industry is a theme that is deeply rooted in the culture and economy of this area. From silkworms to the precious yarn, along an itinerant trail that takes us from the museum rooms to the farm where it is possible to observe examples of silkworm breeding. This activity mainly targets our younger visitors who will have an opportunity to discover an important aspect of our history, one that used to characterise the everyday lives of the farm labourers living on the shores of Lake Como.
The project is fruit of a collaboration with the Como Silk Educational Museum, Sfelab and the SocioLario Cooperative of Musso.
