Meeting Ikebana

An exhibition dedicated to the antique Japanese art of fresh flowers arrangements.

Ikebana is not just what it is usually referred to as “flowers arrangement”, it is a proper form of art, of antique Japanese origins, that has precise rules, both philosophical and compositional, dedicated to the search of the harmony of creation, of rhythm and of colour.
The exhibition will lead us to meet this art and its living compositions and to understand its symbolism and its evolution by following an itinerary illustrated by precious books and flowers.
