Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 June 2021 at the Giardino Interno of Via Volta, 24, Como will be held for the exhibition Bellezze Interiori various events.
A few steps from the church of Sant'Eusebio is the ancient palace once belonging to the family Cocquio Gaggio, at that time, among the most famous of the neighborhood. The building, already an aristocratic residence of the sixteenth century, was renovated in 1790 in an elegant baroque style. Perhaps not everyone knows that Via Volta, where the entrance is located, is probably the longest of the entire walled city of Como, and is the result of the fusion of what was once known as Contrada di Porta Nuova and Contrada del Fontanile. After passing through the elegant wrought iron gate, you will find yourself surrounded by centuries-old trees and fruit plants in one of the very rare flat gardens, the only one in the entire Via Volta which, as is well known, is characterized by its hanging gardens above the walls.
The ticket allows access to the entire event both Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 7:00 pm and participation in all scheduled events.
