Friday 29 May 2020, at 17:30, at Villa Carlotta, Tremezzina, the concert "Edelweiss" will take place, with music by Fauré, Beethoven and Rachmaninov.
Edelweiss - Benedict Klokner (Cello) and Beatrice Berrut (Piano)
Two great performers for the first time at Villa Carlotta present a collection of songs dear to them created in the Swiss Alps and entitled Edelweiss.
Benedict Kloeckner is a highly regarded representative of the new generation of cellists, an excellent ambassador for his instrument, which he plays all over the world.
Beatrice Berrut, born in the Swiss Alps in the Valais Canton, spends much of her childhood with her sister, who conquers the hills and mountains of her native valley. At only two years old she learns to ski and since then her dependence on white, dusty slopes has remained unchanged. The inspiration found in the wonderful landscape, the stoic alpine giants carved the ancient rock and the charm of nature itself accompanies her on her musical journeys to this day.
